Grahame Cilliers - Principal - B.ACC, CA(SA), CEA Grahame, a qualified Chartered Accountant, has worked in various industries for several major listed groups, both as Finance Director and Managing Director. Prior to going into business broking he spent the past nine years with the Barloworld group, initially as the FD and then as the MD of Avis Rent a Car - Southern Africa, followed by a three and a half year stint as CEO of the Avis operations in Scandinavia, where after he was then relocated to the UK and was responsible for the Hyster Materials Handling operations for Europe. Grahame spent nearly four years in the UK before deciding to return to South Africa and make his home on the KZN South Coast. With his extensive experience and knowledge in both the local and international business environments, Grahame can only be an asset to both potential buyers and sellers. Rob Farquharson Rob, qualified as a Pastor from Berea Theological College and was involved in pastoral leadership in Somerset West for 14 years. He then moved to George and worked as a broker with Garden Route Brokers before moving to Johannesburg to work with a new company in the Point of Sales Industry and eventually becoming the regional sales director for Intouch POS and seeing the company grow successfully in the 4 years he was there. The opportunity then came to run the Western Cape branch and eventually, he bought the branch and became a joint owner of a Point of Sale company with software rights for the Western Cape. He saw tremendous growth in the company with large companies like Sanlam Head Office, Cattle Baron Group and Wang Thai franchises among some of his clients. Eventually Rob sold his shares of the business and joined a motor cycle company as the Accounts Sales manager for the coastal region, eventually become the national accounts executive for the company. Rob's strength is in understanding the needs and requirements of people which will be a great asset to both buyer and seller alike.
